Cruise

I could only download five random pictures, nothing really exciting. I'll try to put more up later.

By the pool. You may not be able to tell in the picture, but I am no longer the color of paste.

Dining Room.

Our dining table. This was probably one of my favorite parts of the cruise. Everyone was so nice and came from such different places. There were people from Alaska, North Carolina, Ireland and England.

The "wonderful" cruise entertainment...

England: Day 16 and 17

Day 16: Monday

We went to Winsor Castle!! It was of course absolutely amazing. It was about a hour bus ride there from Kensingtom, but it was well worth it! The weather was perfect!! It has actually been warm the last two days with no rain or clouds and I have been loving it!

Pictures of Windsor Castle:

We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the castle, so hopefully this gives you an idea of what it was like inside.

It is hard to tell in the picture, but the Queen's flag is flying above the tower. When this flag is flying it means the Queen is at the Castle.

This is what they feed us in the cafeteria...please note that nearly everything there is basically the same color. Also, take note of the excessive about of carbs (pasta, mashed potato, french fries, roll) and absolutely no nutrition.

Over course we had to get dessert after such an awful dinner!!

My first cup of English Tea.

Yummy.

Day 17: Tuesday

Because my teacher had a doctors appointment, I had class in the morning which gave me all day to explore while Charm was in class. I went to Buckingham palace to see the Queen's Gallery and Mews. The queen's Gallery had an exhibit displaying the art collection of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert; they had quite an interest in art and there was everything from paintings and sculptures to crown jewels and a throne made of ivory. In the Mews (which is essentially the horse stables) I was able to see all of the royal carriages and a few of the queen's horses. That night it was finally time for Wicked. We've seen five shows on this trip and they are all so amazing it makes it hard to choose a favorite!!

If we have time on Wednesday we are going to try and go to Wimbledon!!!!

Its going to be weird to go home and not have trees everywhere...

Canadian Geese in England?

The Queen held a Garden Party and invited 6,000 people! The line to get into the Palace was extremely long!

Royal Horses.

One of the Queen's Bentley limos.

This is the Glass Carriage. It is used to carry royal brides to the church for their wedding. The Queen, her daughter, and Diana all used this carriage.

The Corination Carriage hasn't been used since the 1950's when Queen Elisabeth was crowned.

It is about 200 years old and cost 7,000 pounds to make.

Some more guests of the Garden Party.

The Queen's Gallery.

The Queen's flag.

WICKED!!!!!
