Here are the first few days of our trip!! It took us FOREVER to actually get to London, because our flight out of DFW had to be cancelled due to electrical problems. At first the airline seem to think the malfunctions could be easily fixed within a few minutes, but those few minutes quickly turned into 3 hours. So we sat on the broken plane for what seemed to be forever with no air conditioner while the flight attendants tried keeping us cool with "ice" water (it was so hot on the plane that the ice melted before we received the drink). After the airline finally declared the flight grounded we were forced to de-board and stand in line for 4 hours waiting to be rescheduled (we didn't get done with all of this until about 4 a.m.). By this time ALL 250 passengers were hungry, tried, and cranky... and of course livid that the airline would only give us a $10 meal voucher as compensation for the inconveniences and major delays. Once we had our new flight plan (that would be getting us to our destination a day late) we then had to claim our checked bags and have them re-checked with our new schedule and then go through security again. Then all we had to do is fly to Jacksonville, then to Miami, and FINALLY LONDON!!!!!! We arrived in London about 10 a.m. and had just enough time to settle in our room and join our fellow class mates on a sightseeing tour of the city. London in an AMAZING city and Charmaine and I may not come home, HAHA!!!!
Here are some pics:
One last look at LBK...so flat.
This is how we had to "sleep" Friday night.
The cars keep throwing me off. Its completely backwards.
SO cute!
Everyone.

We can't wait to go on this. The London Eye is 443 ft. tall
and is the most popular tourist attraction in the UK.
Once at the top you can see for over 25 miles.
